Turlock Golf & Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Turlock, California.
Turlock Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1924 as a 9-hole layout. It was expanded to 18 holes after World War II. The course was redesigned in 1970 by Bob E. Baldock & Jack Fleming. The course was designed by Andrew Raugust.
The Club’s 1924 design is still today one of the most interesting and challenging courses in the area with 57 bunkers and water coming into play on 5 holes. Our highly rated and impeccably groomed 18-hole course is 6641 yards and has a championship slope of 129.
This is a straightforward course with no tricks. The terrain is primarily flat, and the fairways are tree lined. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes. The signature hole is #14, a 355-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over water.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,641 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,167 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 509 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 455 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Turlock is # 11, a 190 yard par-3.

Please remember this is a private Country Club. Best greens in the area. Small, fast and true! If you are looking for a Private Country Club to join in this area give Turlock Golf and Country Club a try. Nice people and very reasonable to join.
